We're proud that visitors to school comment on the good manners and behaviour of our
children. Our "Good to be Green" system works consistently in all classes and provides clear
rules, boundaries and rewards. We'll teach your child that they have the right to learn in a
safe, secure and caring environment, and that they share the responsibility to keep it that
way. They know that better behaviour means there's more fun for everyone!
We have traditional expectations in many ways - we expect your child to be polite, helpful
and co-operative. We expect them to come to school on time every day unless there is a
genuine reason not to (e.g. illness) and with the right equipment (PE kit, homework, musical
instrument etc) on the right day. We expect them to work hard, and to support the learning
of others by behaving well. We expect them to wear our school uniform and to take pride in
representing our school. We find that because our expectations of children are high, they
enjoy living up to them.
