"Working Together" is our school motto and working together with parents, carers, our
community and the wider world is central to the personal, social and academic achievement
of all our children. We welcome you into the life of our school; whether helping on a school
visit, supporting children in the classroom, or sharing your talents and expertise with our
children. We are lucky we have many volunteers in school but we are very happy to welcome
more!

We work together with many different agencies to ensure appropriate support is given to
children and families. We regularly hold multi-agency meetings and are very proactive in our
dealings with other agencies.

"Pupil Voice" is valued and our School Council and Healthy Action Team provide children
with opportunities to be involved in school development, our local environment and global
issues. We organise and participate in a wide range of fundraising activities for charities.
We are actively seeking to be awarded our third Eco Green Flag.

Our large staff team works well together to support our children, our families and our
community; we would love to welcome you into the "Dowson Family".
