Head Girl and Head Boy
Acting as role models, mentors and embodying
the STAC 6th Form ethos, these students will have
a crucial role in the image of the 6th Form and in
ensuring its success.
These posts will be filled after the senior students
have been elected and will work closely with senior
staff as the leaders of the student body.
Common Room
The common room is a multi-facet area where, at
various times, students can work quietly in groups or
individually. Students also use this space to
socialise, or simply read and relax with a cup of tea
and a slice of toast.
Admissions Criteria
The STAC 6th Form offers approximately 80 places per year group, reaching
a total of approximately 160 places over the two years.
Students studying A Level courses will require seven A*- C grades at GCSE,
including English and Maths. In addition, a minimum of four B grades will be
required and these should be relevant to their A Level subjects. Students wishing
to take Vocational Qualifications will need four or more A*- C grades at GCSE.
Where students have failed to achieve D grades in English Language and
Mathematics, these courses must be re-taken.
